Wendigo vs Wolvie

This illustration came out of a technical question I had. It's just a way of working out solutions and trying to challenge myself. I started it back in febuary i think.

OK, let me guess the technical question.

How far can I push a monochromatic palette?

Or let me try an interesting vantage point and crazy twisting poses?

What was the technical question?

HA! Thanks Vee, Come to think of it there were two questions in my head. Actually it wasn't very monochromatic at the beginning. Until now I had never illustrated a night time scene I wanted to see what would happen to those saturated colors under a full moon. The other question was how do I stick with a painting that's not working while having A.D.D.

That Technical question got answered!

The temperature changes in the blues really suggest actual color especially in wolverine and the sky.

Awesome job!
